Fresh and tasty Creamy Ranch Jalapeno Dip – the perfect summer chip dip!
Yesterday, I shared our favorite way to spend a night with our friends – a Chip Dip Game Night!! Bryan and I have always loved spending hours playing games together, and we are lucky enough to have friends with similar interests. In the post, I share a few great general group games that everyone can get into, such as Bezzerwizzer and What’s Yours Like? Lately, our favorite group game though has been Pandemic Legacy. It’s a cooperative game (you all win or lose together) and what’s fun about legacy games is that each consecutive game builds on itself; so changes made to the board in the first game impact your third game and so on.
But let’s get to the food since that is probably why you clicked over! For our last game night, I whipped up a new chip dip that I just loved for summer – Creamy Ranch Jalapeno Dip! The jalapeños and cilantro offer a fresh flavor while the ranch provides the perfect balance to any heat from the jalapeños.
- 2-3 jalapenos, remove seeds and chopped
- 1 c sour cream
- ½ c mayonnaise
- 1 package dry Ranch seasoning
- 1 clove garlic
- ¼ c fresh cilantro, roughly chopped
- salt and pepper to taste
- Place everything, minus salt and pepper, into a food processor. Pulse until smooth.
- Taste, then add salt and pepper to your liking.
I am thinking this dip would be the perfect addiction to some tacos this summer or drizzled over a white enchilada recipe. If you love the flavor jalapeños can offer and are a ranch addict like me, you really are going to love this dip and find lots of excuses to whip it up!
