Happy New Year, Bookworms! It’s time to vote for The Blissful Bookworms Book Club Book for February! If you’re new to the group, Welcome! If you haven’t joined yet, you can do so here. If you’ve been around for a while, hello friend! We can’t wait to discuss and read with you! We’re currently discussing December’s book Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn and currently reading Wild: From Lost to Found on the Pacific Crest Trail by Cheryl Strayed.

When things get busy, the first thing that always falls away is reading and it’s a mistake. Reading is one of the ways I clear my head and de-stress. Reading makes me happy; I am a life long book worm. All this means that I am making time for reading again and have included it into my daily schedule. I’m getting into bed at the same time every week night to read for about an hour before I fall asleep. I’ve already noticed that I feel less overwhelmed with work and that I’ve been sleeping better. Reading and taking time for myself is making a huge difference!

At the moment I am in the middle of Fables by Bill Willingham, which are graphic novels about fairy tale characters living in our world. It’s fun to see the Big Bad Wolf as Sherrif and Snow White in charge, plus they are quick reads. I also spent some time over the holidays reading books about budgets and organization (not fun, but very helpful): Living Well, Spending Less: 12 Secrets of the Good Life by Ruth Soukup and The Total Money Makeover: Classic Edition: A Proven Plan for Financial Fitness by Dave Ramsey. And next for me, besides our bookclub book – Neil Patrick Harris: Choose Your Own Autobiography. My husband couldn’t stop chuckling while reading this autobiography, so I’m super excited to read it! If you have any suggestions for other books I should add to my 2015 Reading List (which I’m working on now), please let me know below!

Now – to business! Things have changed a bit for voting this month. You can vote by selecting your book choice in the poll below. The giveaway for the free copy of our book choice will now take place within the Facebook group.
