I love decorating our house for the holidays and seasons, but I don’t have an endless budget. I am sure you can all understand that as well. That is why I love up-cycle projects. Wine bottles are perfect for craft projects if you happen to be a wine drinker like myself. Why recycle them when you can make a Creative Makeover! For this Halloween decor project, I decided to go with a “Bottle of Boos”. Get it?!  😉

I spray painted the bottle white, cut out the design on a scrap piece of vinyl, and then used a sharpie to fill it in. The font I used {Jellyka Castle’s Queen) was not the easiest choice for cutting out on vinyl at that size, so I had to do a lot of fill in after I pulled up the vinyl stencil. Otherwise, DONE!

It was an overall easy project, which is a plus, but I really like working with wine bottles because they give your decor a different dimensions. Especially for Halloween, pumpkins and decor tend to be  lower to the ground. Wine bottles give the decor some height.
