My New DIY Obsession – Jamberry Nails

Not to long ago, my husband sent home a text to tell me he was running late from work. I sent back to him that it was no big deal as I was busy doing my nails anyway. His response? “Things I am not used to hearing for 50o please.”

I never do my nails. No matter how many times I have tried and practiced, I can’t paint the nails on my right hand. More polish gets on my skin than nails. I also have a chip in the polish by the end of the first day. Between all the typing, crafting, cooking/washing dishes and general use, nail polish just isn’t worth the hassle. At one time, I had acrylics. I loved them but couldn’t keep up the price.

Jamberry First Application

Enter Jamberry. The best selling point I can say about Jamberry is that I was able to do them myself; the second best is that they have lasted me a week. My nails would normally be ruined day 1. Plus, if I can’t put a nice stroke of paint on my fingers, I most certainly wouldn’t be able to paint cute flowers or chevrons. Jamberry has so many adorable patterns and colors to use!!

My high school friend Ashley began selling them and reached out about reviewing them. {If it’s unclear – I am hooked!} I can’t leave it at just a review though, so we have LOTS of fun things planned. Stay tuned to hear about all the details, but FIRST say hi to Ashley and feel free to chuckle at a rare high school picture I am sharing with all of you:

The Love Nerds - Jamberry Nail Obsession

Hello everyone! My name is Ashley Zaitz, and I am a full time cosmetologist, Jamberry Nails Consultant and a newlywed! I live in colorful Colorado, but previously lived in Illinois and went to high school with Maggie 🙂

I became a Jamberry consultant because I absolutely love the product! I have tried both shellac and gel, and they would just chip off of my fingers the next day! The only thing I could get to stay on my nails was acrylic, so I was getting my nails done every 2 weeks and spending $50 each time. When I was introduced to Jamberry wraps, I was skeptical at first because, if shellac and gel didn’t work, why would these? Luckily I was proven wrong!

I can get a full week out of my manicure and 6 weeks out of my pedicure! Most people get 2+ weeks out of their manicure, but I’m very rough on my nails! Added bonus…. It’s only $15 for a sheet, and I can get 2 manicures and 2 pedicures out of it while doinig it in the comfort of my own home! Naturally I decided I HAD to sell these wraps and introduce them everyone! I am so glad I decided to join. I have a great team that is very helpful and in the 2 months I have been working with Jamberry I have had 2 promotions!

If you would like to learn more about Jamberry visit my website at There you will be able to shop around and watch a video on how to apply the wraps. If you have any questions feel free to email me at [email protected].

Here is a little bit more about Jamberry! They are vinyl adhesive wraps that are heat activated and pressure sealed to the nail. When applied properly, you create a waterproof seal. Plus, as long as you follow the directions for application and removal, they are entirely safe for your nails. Trust me – you want to give these a try! Take a look at just a few of the design options. What is your persoNAILity?
