My spring decor has been seriously lacking the last few years. I tend to go so big for Christmas with some Valentine’s Day and birthday decor after that I end up somehow skipping Spring. Not this year! It’s been a difficult winter, so I wanted to bring in some color. Refreshing my spring decor become a goal but I wanted to do so cost effectively which is why I headed over to New Uses.

New Uses is a new kind of resale store and there are 5 different locations around the Chicago area: Aurora, Crest Hill, Orland Park, Schaumburg, and Batavia. First, it’s the perfect place to take all of your spring cleaning goods that you are ready to get rid of because there is no waiting for payment. They will give you cash on the spot which, if you are like me, is an awesome bonus! Plus, you can just head in there when it’s convenient for you – no appointment needed. New Uses is also a great place to pick up gently used and new to you household items such as furniture, home decor, electronics, kitchenware and more.

For refreshing my spring decor, I was incredibly impressed with the glassware available at New Uses. They have a magical glassware wall which had vases in every color of the rainbow at store location I visited. I picked up a really nice, sturdy glass jar to use as a centerpiece. It only cost me $5 which is an incredible price. It will be perfect for filling with decor pieces for every season. For spring, it is filled with colorful Easter eggs. I also picked up two smaller, matching vases to use with fake tulips I picked up from New Uses as well.

I also found a couple cake plates at New Uses, which works perfectly for tablescapes. In the faux floral department, where I found those gorgeous yellow tulips, I also found some nesting material which I put on top of the cake plate with some fun Easter eggs.

I’m kind of wishing I had a New Uses near me, especially since that wall of glassware sounds like a dream! ? I love that you kept the decor simple but festive with bright colors!
