{Temporary} Valentine's Day Vases - Gorgeous holiday decor that you will be able to easily remove to use again after the season! {The Love Nerds} #ValentinesDay #crafts #homedecor #holiidaydecor

This time around, I am sharing my “temporary” Valentine’s Day Vases! We are on a budget around here, so I love finding holiday decor options that are temporary. Going out and buying new items to decorate every month just isn’t possible. For this reason, vinyl is one of my go-to craft solutions. It looks crisp with stunning detail and it can easily be removed. Every holiday, I decorate the same two vases that sit on a table at the top of the stairs, challenging myself to do something different every time around. In the past, I have shared my 4th of July vases and my Halloween vases.

LARGE Vase with Paper Rose Filler

For my Valentine’s Day Vases, I decided to fill the back, larger vase with more 3D paper roses that matches the LOVE sign I shared with all of you last week. The LOVE sign hangs above the table, so I like how the vase filler matches. If you go to the LOVE sign post, you can see the directions with photo for how to put together the 3D roses.

Small Heart Vase

The pink rose filler also makes a great background for the smaller vase in front, which I decided to decorate with white vinyl hearts. For the hearts, I used a free shape of the week from Silhouette that was a pattern of hearts and cut out a 4×4 square {the size of my vase}. I will say that it took me a little longer than I would have liked to remove the access vinyl from the sheet. My hearts were little though and didn’t want to stay down. I recommend making your hearts a little bigger or just approaching the cut out vinyl with patience and a tool to help keep them down while pealing back the extra vinyl. To put this in perspective, the whole process still took under 15 minutes.
