Orange Cranberry Margaritas

The Orange Cranberry Margarita is an easy holiday cocktail recipe for Thanksgiving and Christmas! The sweetness of the orange complements the tartness of the cranberries, making it a big crowd pleaser.

Ingredients

Make One Orange Cranberry Margarita

  • 1.5 ounces tequila (jigger)
  • 3 ounces cranberry juice (not cocktail)
  • 3/4 ounce orange juice (small jigger)
  • 3/4 ounce triple sec (small jigger)
  • 3/4 ounce lime juice (small jigger)
  • 1/2 tablespoon sugar (to taste)
  • sparkling water to top off drink (optional)
  • fresh cranberries and orange slices to garnish (optional)

Make Large Batch of Orange Cranberry Margarita

  • 1.5 cup tequila
  • 3 cups cranberry juice
  • 3/4 cup orange juice
  • 3/4 cup triple sec
  • 3/4 cup lime juice
  • 3-4 tablespoon sugar
  • sparkling water to top off drink (optional)
  • fresh cranberries and orange slices to garnish (optional)

Instructions

How To Make One Orange Cranberry Margarita

  1. Salt or sugar the rim of your glass. 

  2. Combine all the ingredients in a cocktail shaker and fill with ice. Shake until combined and then strain into your prepared glass over ice. 

  3. Top with sparkling water if desired, and add cranberries and orange slice to garnish. 

How to Make Large Batch of Orange Cranberry Margarita

  1. Combine all the ingredients except the sparkling water in a pitcher and stir to combine. Keep chilled in the fridge until ready to serve. 

  2. When ready to serve, salt the rims of 4-6 glasses. Add ice to each glass and pour the margaritas over the ice. 

  3. Top with sparkling water if desired, and add cranberries and orange slice to garnish.
