Ingredients

  • 20 Pretzel Rods
  • 1 cup Melting White Chocolate or Vanilla Almond Bark if preferred
  • 1/3 cup Peppermint Baking Chips, you can increase ratio toward more peppermint if you want stronger flavor
  • 1/4 cup crushed candy cane

Instructions

  1. Prep baking sheet with parchment paper for easier clean up.

  2. In a medium microwavable bowl, microwave white chocolate or vanilla almond bark with the peppermint baking chips in 30 second intervals, stirring in between, until completely melted.

  3. Dip your pretzel rods into melted chocolate. As you pull the rod out of the chocolate, twist the pretzel until no longer dripping, leaving an even chocolate coating.

  4. Immediately dust the chocolate-coated pretzel rod with crushed peppermint. You do not want the chocolate to set before dusting so that the crushed candy cane will stick.

Place finished pretzel stick on parchment paper covered baking sheet. Repeat until done.

  5. Chocolate will set in about 30 minutes at room temperature. If you would like to speed up the process, place in fridge; chocolate will be set in closer to 10 minutes.
