Plan an easy summer cookout with this easy pasta salad recipe and BUBBA burgers!
The last few months feels like a long, drawn out meal prep session. No joke! It feels like I spend my day either thinking about the next meal and snack or actually making it.
I think it’s the combination of all 4 of us being home ALL the time in addition to Parker now eating all table food plus snacks, Liam not getting a school snack at least, and Bryan eating me out of house and home. 😉 It’s just a lot!
But thankfully summer is here which means grilling season! I mean, I still have to cook but standing outside enjoying the warm weather while the grill does most of the work feels like a nice change of pace.
Plus, my summer grilling season just got so much easier with BUBBA burger! I had heard about BUBBA before, but I had never actually tried them until they sent some my way. Now, I am a convert.
Why, you might ask? I’ll tell you!
WHY I LOVE BUBBA BURGER?
While I spend a lot of time thinking about meal prep, I also spend a lot of time procrastinating meal prep, forgetting about my meal prep plans, and then rearranging my meal prep times. I have basically not been efficient or on top of life lately.
But I feel like BUBBA burger gets me because I don’t have to take the burgers out of the freezer to defrost. I can take them straight from the freezer and place them onto the grill to cook. Ready in 10 minutes or less, they are amazing for a last minute meal.
In addition to being easy, they are tasty and made with clean ingredients – free of additives or preservatives. You can choose either BUBBA burger Original with 100% USDA Choice Chuck Beef or BUBBA burger Angus Beef with 100% USDA Angus Beef Chuck. Both are naturally gluten free and delicious!
Our favorite is definitely BUBBA Angus Beef burgers!
MAKE YOUR SUMMER COOKOUT EVEN SIMPLER WITH EASY PASTA SALAD
An easy dinner needs an easy side dish! I’m pretty sure BUBBA burgers and this easy pasta salad will become a weekly ritual. I would say on a planned day, but if you haven’t caught on yet, that probably won’t happen.
This is my perfect last minute dinner – burgers that only take around 10 minutes to make alongside a side dish that takes about 10 minutes to make a well. Easy peasy!
HOW TO MAKE PASTA SALAD
Making a homemade pasta salad can be super easy! All you really need are cooked noodles, a few of your favorite veggies, simple seasoning like salt, pepper or Italian seasoning, and your favorite Italian dressing. That’s it!
Homemade Italian pasta salad is my most made summer side dish. It’s easy to make, my kids love noodles and Italian dressing, it goes with everything (especially burgers) and can be eaten immediately or chilled for later. Total win!
- 1 box Rotini pasta shells
- 1 onion (red, diced)
- 3 bell peppers, diced (red, yellow, green - 1⁄2 cup of each color)
- 1 cup Italian dressing (homemade or your favorite store brand)
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes
- 1⁄2 tsp salt
- 1⁄2 tsp pepper
- 1⁄2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1⁄2 tsp oregano
Cook pasta and allow it to cool slightly.
Combine diced onion, diced bell peppers, tomatoes, seasoning, and Italian dressing into a large bowl with cooked pasta.
Stir to mix well.
Serve immediately, or chill for 1 hour in the refrigerator before serving.
