Between my husband and I, we have a lot of fandoms that span across books, television, movies, games and more! We’re very diverse in our nerd love; my maid of honor even said so in her wedding toast. When pushed to pick my number one fandom though, the answer is easy for me – Harry Potter!
Harry Potter came into my life when I was 12 years old. I have read the books countless times, watch all the movies at least twice a year and just got done decorating a Harry Potter nursery. I’ve literally laughed out loud and shed more tears for the Wizarding World than I probably want to admit. My tattoo in honor of my mother is also – you probably guessed it – Harry Potter themed.
While I could go on and on about why I love the universe J.K. Rowling has created for all of us, I’ll focus on this – I love how diverse the Harry Potter fandom is. So many of my very unique and different friends love the world as much as I do, which is why it’s a great place to start when I’m looking to make a DIY gift.
