10 minute dessert recipe that everyone will love – Strawberry Cheesecake Dip!
I am going to be honest with all of you … I’ve been staring at the computer to write this post longer than I normally do. I find sharing my life and story fairly easy. But today… today I can only think in short little fragments.
I hate cancer. It is my least favorite thing in the world right now. That’s the least colorful, family friendly way I can say that.
I have known survivors of cancer – my grandma, Bryan’s aunt, friends – but cancer has become very personal for my family this year. It became a part of my family’s every day when my mom was diagnosed with cancer. She is a fighter and she is undergoing treatment. And cancer sucks. It is not eloquent but that is the best I can do today.
So there’s that. It’s not eloquent but I’m still here participating in Cooking for a Cure this year because I still want to support and honor those diagnosed with cancer – any cancer – and their family and friends who help care for them. It truly takes a tribe.
Instead, let me tell you about this dessert. That I know how to talk about! Cheesecake dips are one of my favorite desserts to whip up for guests. They take only 10 minutes to whip up, and everyone loves them! I have made a Funfetti Cheesecake Dip for birthdays before and a Caramel Cheesecake Dip that is perfect with apples. Now, I’m sharing this Strawberry Cheesecake Dip with all of you and it’s deliciously sweet! My favorite cookie to dip into it with? Gingersnaps! You should definitely try gingersnaps with it!
- 8 oz cream cheese room temp
- 1/2 c sour cream
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 3/4 c powdered sugar
- Strawberry Pie Filling
- Cookies of choice for dipping
Place cream cheese in a mixing bowl and beat on medium-high for a few minutes. You want the cream cheese to become light and whipped.
Add to the bowl the sour cream, vanilla and powder sugar. Mix on medium until blended well.
Once everything is mixed together, add to your bowl or dish.
Top with strawberry pie filling.
Refrigerate and serve cold with your dippers of choice.
