Love paper crafts? This Home Wall Art in 3D Flower Shadowbox makes a perfect housewarming gift, wedding gift, or just a statement piece to add to your decor.
Hi everyone- It’s Valerie from Occasionally Crafty. I’m thrilled to share this project with you today. I belong to a lot of groups on Facebook. One of my favorites is a Silhouette machine group. People share their projects for inspiration as well as ask each other for help.
You will need the following supplies:
- 2-3 sheets Scrapbook paper of your choice for flowers
- 1 sheet coordinating scrapbook paper for background
- Hot glue gun/sticks
- Vinyl (if desired)
- Shadowbox frame (mine is 8×10)
Let’s get to it!
WALL ART TUTORIAL
First, cut some scrapbook paper to fit the background of your shadowbox frame. For my frame, I used the actual backing of the frame. The size of your flowers determines how much of your background will show.
Glue your paper to the background and let it dry.
Once your flower is dry, hot glue it to your backing. Continue until you have filled your space.
I’m getting ready for back to school time with these Reusable Lunch Box Notes:
She is also a wife and mother, an avid reader, a sometimes crafter, and a lover of all things music. After graduating from BYU with a degree in music education, she moved to Phoenix to teach high school band. She left her teaching career to raise her three kids (currently 10, 8, and 5). Her favorite thing to make is anything seasonal/holiday. She is happiest when at home with her family, snuggled up with a good book.
