This Strawberry Rosé Spritzer is an extra lovely wine spritzer recipe thanks to the pretty pink hue from the rosé wine. Lightly and fruity, it’s the perfect cocktail to enjoy for a special Valentine’s Day date night or on a warm spring day!
A Strawberry Rosé Wine Spritzer Recipe You Can Enjoy All Year Long!
I am relatively new to the world of spritzer recipes. In fact, I didn’t even realize there were other alcohol spritzers out there besides wine spritzers until recently.
So like any new thing in my life, I am on the path toward mastering the spritzer by obsessively trying new recipes and playing with combinations. I love wine cocktails and just wine in general, so it’s definitely a labor of love! 🙂
I have a feeling you will see a lot of spritzer recipes here in the next year, but first there is the Strawberry Lemon Rosé Spritzer.
I decided to start with a rosé spritzer for you all because I think the pink blush of the wine makes it an absolutely perfect Valentine’s Day cocktail and an even better summer cocktail! The fresh fruit and garnish make it feel a little extra special for fun occasions instead of just pouring a glass of rose.
Rose wine is also perfect for warm nights in spring and summer! It’s refreshing, often being a little lighter than a sauvignon blanc. And it’s pink! Who doesn’t love pink?!
It is perfect for a spritzer! You get a light and versatile cocktail recipe that they can be served at any event in any season with a beautiful pink color! You can’t go wrong!
SO… WHAT IS A WINE SPRITZER?
In case anyone else is relatively new to the spritzer drink world as I was not too long ago, let me clue you in.
Three key ingredients are needed to make a wine spritzer:
The last one is important because spritzers are best as a chilled cocktail.
You can make them dry or sweet which is greatly affected by both your wine choice as well as your soda choice. Classic wine spritzer cocktails usually call for club soda, but you can also use sparkling water, lemonade, or more!
WHAT IS A ROSE WINE SPRITZER?
This is easy! A rose wine spritzer is rose wine, club soda, and ice.
HOW TO MAKE A ROSE WINE SPRITZER?
If you love wine, you will most likely love making wine spritzers. Spritzers are just so easy to make!
To make this Strawberry Rose Spritzer, you will add your fruit to the glass, muddling slightly if you want to release more juices.
Then add ice and pour in both your wine and club soda! Super easy!
If you want to get fancy, garnish your glass by putting a toothpick between strawberries, lemon and maybe even a mint leaf or basil leaf.
WHY SHOULD I MAKE IT INSTEAD OF BUYING A CAN OF ROSE WINE SPRITZER?
I totally get the convenience of having a can on hand, especially if you are brining the cocktail to an event or even just hanging out outside in the neighborhood.
Honestly though, wine spritzers are so easy to make at home and overall less expensive than buying a can, so I’m sticking to the homemade variety!
