Garlic and parmesan is a perfect pairing! And this Garlic Parmesan Chicken Wings Sauce is the perfect recipe for your next bbq grill out or game day party!
Delicious Garlic Parmesan Chicken Wings are an addicting addition to your next party menu!
When I decided to add more chicken wings sauce recipes to the site, a garlic parmesan sauce was the first recipe that I started to develop because it’s one of my favorite pairings.
I’m addicted to garlic as a general rule of thumb, doubling or even tripling the amount of garlic in any recipe.
Then add some parmesan cheese into the mix and a little parsley and butter, and you have a guaranteed hit on your hands.
Trust me – kids love this garlic parmesan chicken wings sauce as well as adults. It is a family favorite!
HOW TO MAKE A GARLIC PARMESAN CHICKEN WINGS SAUCE?
This recipe for chicken wing sauce takes a little bit longer than my other sauces but that doesn’t mean it’s harder.
The only reason it takes longer is because you have to melt butter, mince garlic if you work from cloves, and chop parsley if you use fresh. All of these steps take a tiny bit more time than simply dumping and stirring.
So to make this garlic parmesan chicken wings sauce, you will melt the butter and add minced garlic, parsley, parmesan, red pepper flakes, salt and pepper. Stir!
Then your sauce is ready for your cooked chicken wings. Just add to a Ziploc bag and toss when you are ready!
HOW TO COOK YOUR GARLIC PARMESAN CHICKEN WINGS?
You have endless options for cooking your chicken wings depending on preference and time of year. For example, I prefer cooking my chicken wings on the grill in the summer to keep my house from getting warm.
Since I made this recipe at the end of June, that is how I cooked the wings photographed in these photos.
I grilled the chicken wings over medium heat on a well oiled grate for about 20 minutes. My goal is to not over turn any meat on the grill because meat that has gotten a nice char don’t stick on the grate as much.
Cook with the lid closed and check at least every 5 minutes. Move pieces that are cooking too fast to a less hot spot on the grill. Remove chicken wings from the grill when they have reached 165 F internally.
After the wings were cooked, I added all the sauce ingredients to a Ziploc bag with the wings and shook them up. Yum!

HELPFUL ITEMS OF MAKING WINGS:
Meat Thermometer – This is ESSENTIAL for cooking meat safely and deliciously! Chicken wings need to be 165 degrees F internally for safe consumption.
BBQ Grill Tools Set – If grilling, you definitely want a full set of utensils safe for the grill! My favorite tool for using with chicken wings is the tongs.
Grill Cooking Spray – Use this or oil up your grate before lighting so your chicken wings don’t stick! I make sure my grill is well coated before cooking any sort of meat.
