Surprise your guests with a Christmas Margarita They’ll Love!

Many people think margaritas are only for summer, but I think seasonal margaritas can be enjoyed all year long!

Bryan and I had already been enjoying both Cranberry Orange Margaritas and Cranberry Margaritas when I stumbled upon White Cranberry juice and made these White Cranberry Margaritas.

They immediately became my favorite holiday cocktail! SERIOUSLY!

I was actually a little more than bummed last Christmas because I was pregnant with Parker and couldn’t enjoy a batch of this Christmas cocktail!

This Christmas margarita combine white cranberry juice, coconut, lime, orange liqueur and, of course, tequila!

The combination doesn’t sound like it would work, but the result is the smoothest margarita I have ever enjoyed.

Plus, it’s a gorgeous White Christmas cocktail with red and green garnishes.

White Cranberries are picked a few weeks earlier than traditional cranberries and produce a milder, slightly sweeter taste. Both cranberry juices provide similar health benefits.

Many people are hesitant about red cranberry because of the tartness, so I find that many people prefer the flavor of white cranberry juice.

Another reason this cocktail recipe is a bit hit for the holidays – just smooth, festive flavor with no bitterness!

With coconut rum and coconut milk added to the traditional tequila, orange liqueur and lime juice, this coconut margarita base is light and creamy. I am not a huge coconut fan usually, but the coconut flavor is really subtle here, which is why I love it.

Consider adding a little extra coconut extract if you are looking for a stronger coconut flavor, especially if making in the summer months.

Then just add in the white cranberry juice! It’s definitely a dump, stir and enjoy drink!

If you love the tartness of red cranberries, than you should definitely check out both my Cranberry Orange Margaritas and Cranberry Margaritas. They are more traditional cranberry flavor margaritas.

Curious about other drinks you can make with white cranberry juice?

You could sub out almost any red cranberry juice cocktail recipe with white cranberry juice instead, such as a Vodka and White Cranberry. This substitution will generally provide a slightly sweeter or milder cocktail with about the same flavor.

You could also make a White Cranberry Martini, a White Cranberry Cosmo, or a Stone Rose Cocktail which is a pretty bourbon based cocktail recipe.

I’m convinced White Cranberry Juice is going to become a new favorite juice for your drink recipes.

If you have a hard time finding the white cranberry juice at all, I suggest looking at Walmart.

Finding it in other stores often depends on season and location, but Walmart always seems to have it in stock.

Rose Gold Cocktail Shaker and Double Sided Jigger –> I depend on jiggers when I make cocktails as I find them the easiest way to measure out liquor. Plus, if making smaller batches, a shaker is always a great kitchen gadget to have on hand. Extra bonus points for this set because it’s really pretty.

Glassware —>  Can’t have margaritas without great glassware! You can go traditional with Margarita Glasses OR go festive with Holiday Stemless Glassware

Glass Pitcher —> When making batch cocktail recipes for parties, you’ll want to make sure you have a large glass pitcher on hand!

12″ Beverage Stirrer for Pitcher —> Especially with a smooth, creamy drink like this one, you will want to provide a drink stirrer of some sort for your guests to mix up the cocktail punch before pouring. I find a beverage stirrer is less cumbersome and messy than putting a big spoon there instead.
