We have been counting down the days over here for the new live action Mulan release, and it’s finally here!! So in true Love Nerd style, I’m celebrating by adding a Mulan SVG Bundle to the shop!

I have always believed that Mulan is an underrated Disney film. As a little girl, I loved getting to see a woman up there kicking butt and showing up the men around her.
She was clever, quick, strong, and selfless. She is definitely someone I hold up as a role model for little girls.
It is why I am SO excited that Mulan is Disney’s new live action movie and that they have decided to release it onto Disney+. A whole new generation of girls will be able to look up to this strong, female warrior!
Mulan is also my sister’s all time favorite Disney princess, so she was the first to receive these Mulan cut files. I’m waiting to see if she will appear in a brand new homemade Mulan shirt this weekend when she comes over to watch it.
If time wasn’t a factor, I would already be wearing the shirt below with Mulan’s flower comb that reads, “The flower that blooms in adversity is the most rare and beautiful of all.” That or “Woman Up!”
For this round of Disney designs, I think Bryan will be getting the “How to be a Man” shirt because it’s fun and silly!
Liam loves Mushu so a Mushu Fireworks shirt might just become his 4th of July shirt for next year!
I realized just how spoiled Liam was the other day with getting to choose and make his own shirts with favorite characters because he started spouting new designs at me like I used magic to whip them up with a snap of my fingers.
I’m not exactly loving the bossiness out of him, but I l do love how much he loves his homemade shirts and his princesses!

You can use these files for all personal projects and while most used for making DIY Disney shirts, they can be used for lots of projects!
The PDFs and PNGs are great for making prints or party materials like party invites and decor.

- Heat Transfer Vinyl for shirts – Black, White or Starter Pack
- Favorite Shirt
- Iron or Heat Press
If you are looking do complete other projects, like mugs or glassware, use regular vinyl for glassware, mugs, frames, or ornaments – Vinyl Color Pack.
TIPS FOR MAKING HOMEMADE MULAN SHIRTS WITH HEAT TRANSFER VINYL:
It’s important to follow the instructions on the heat transfer vinyl you purchase, but here are some tips that have helped me!
Tip #1 – Make sure that you flip your design horizontally so it is mirrored before you cut out the design. If you don’t do this, you won’t be able to read your design!
Tip #2 – Heat the fabric with your iron or heating press before you adhere the design. It helps the vinyl adhere more strongly.
Tip #3 – Firmly press down your iron or heating press for at least 20 second intervals before moving to another portion of the design. I find pressing firmly is better than moving the iron in strokes over the design.
