This tasty Peach Moscow Mule recipe is a no brainer summer cocktail recipe! It’s a delicious twist on the classic mule recipe that only requires a few easy ingredients.
PEACH MOSCOW MULES ARE A PERFECT SUMMER COCKTAIL!
When I think of summer recipes, peaches always come to mind! The sweet juicy taste of fresh peaches is perfect on a warm summer day.
For a few summers now, my White Peach Sangria has become a summer cocktail staple when friends come over. It’s a delicious punch style recipe that easily serves up a crowd.
However, it makes too large of a batch when I want a tasty peach cocktail on a warm summer night!
So when I started to taste test new Moscow mules for the site, I knew I wanted to make a peach flavored Moscow mule. Man am I glad I did!
A Peach Moscow Mule is perfect to enjoy outside on a warm summer day! We love sitting outside together after the kids go together sipping on one of these cocktails.
The only thing that would make it better is if we were also enjoying a peach crisp, but making that definitely takes more time than making a peach mule!
HOW TO MAKE A PEACH MOSCOW MULE:
This recipe for a peach Moscow mule is no different than a traditional Moscow mule when it comes to ingredients.
- Peach Vodka – Instead of plain vodka though you are going to use peach vodka. If you don’t want to use peach vodka, I will provide a different option further down.
- Ginger Beer – I prefer using diet ginger beer to cut down the sugar in the recipe.
- Limes – I cannot suggest enough to use fresh lime juice! It provides a far better flavor than bottled lime juice.
Add these three ingredients into your copper mug or other drink cup with some ice and you are good to go! Easy enough to make for yourself on a random night you want to enjoy a drink.
It’s also easy enough to have ingredients out on the counter or in the fridge for your guests to make themselves a drink.

DO I NEED TO USE THE PEACH VODKA?
I can totally get not wanting to necessarily invest in a flavored bottle of vodka, especially if you already have plain vodka in the house.
However, I strongly suggest using peach vodka if you can. It provides essential flavor to the cocktail and can be used to make this Moscow mule AND a great peach sangria.
If you absolutely do not want to purchase the peach vodka though or if you simply want an extra pop of peach flavor to your mule, then you can do two things: muddle fresh peaches or puree frozen peaches to add!
If you muddle fresh peaches, do so at the bottom of your mug before adding in the other ingredients or ice.
Definitely use a ripe peach that is soft and juicy. A tough peach will not be easy to muddle and therefore not give you the peach flavor you want!
HELPFUL ITEMS FOR MAKING A PEACH MOSCOW MULE
Making Moscow mules doesn’t require a lot of special tools which is another reason I love making homemade Moscow mules!
Other than the copper mugs if you want to be authentic to the classic recipe, I suggest just having a basic bar set. Here’s why!
A jigger makes it super easy to measure vodka while making cocktails, the stirrer is perfect for stirring your drink, of course, and a muddler is great for recipes like this one where you can muddle fresh peaches!
Lastly, if you don’t have room to keep your vodka chilled or your ginger beer chilled, then I suggest using a cocktail shaker with ice before pouring your ingredients over new ice in the cup. It will make your drink truly chilled!
So here are my three main suggestions for you:
HAND HAMMERED 100% COPPER MUGS: This is probably my favorite set because in addition to coming with 4 hand hammered copper mugs, it also includes matching straws and shot glass! They are strong, sturdy and beautiful! Plus it comes with a limited edition brass handle!
3 PIECE BAR SET: If you are going to make simple cocktails, this is my favorite bar set. It has a jigger, a muddler, and a trident cocktail stirrer. This last one means it has a mini “spoon” shape on one end like a traditional stirrer and a forked shape on the other.
LARGE BAR SET: If you are going to be getting into more sophisticated cocktail recipes, including anything that needs to be shaken or strained, than I suggest upgrading to the full bar set. I love having everything on hand. You never know when you want to try something new!

Notes
DO I HAVE TO USE PEACH VODKA?
Peach vodka is what primarily gives this Peach Moscow Mule its peach flavor. However, if you don't want to buy peach vodka or simply want a stronger peach flavor, you could one of two things:
- Muddle 1/3 cup chopped peaches or 1/2 of a peach at the bottom of the mug as the first step, OR
- Puree 1/3 cup chopped peaches or 1/2 of a peach in a blender. If making puree, you could use fresh or frozen peaches.
