HOW TO DECORATE YOUR FRANKENSTEIN RICE KRISPIE TREATS
First, you will want to melt your vibrant green candy melts per the instructions on the bag. Do so in a bowl that will allow you to dip the treat straight in and out.
Dip your treats into the melted chocolate. If needed, use a spoon or icing knife to smooth out the chocolate and then place on wax paper to cool.
Dip in stages so that your treats don’t dry before you can complete the next step of decorating.
Before the candy coating dries on your treats, sprinkle the brown jimmies on top to create hair. Then add your eyes balls and one jimmie for the mouth.
Allow to cool completely and harden before serving.
HELPFUL ITEMS FOR MAKING THESE FRANKENSTEIN TREATS
VIBRANT GREEN CANDY MELTS – You can use a different green if you want a darker color, but these are definitely my favorite for this treat!
CHOCOLATE JIMMIES – You will use these for both the hair and the mouth.
CANDY EYES – Can’t make a cute little Halloween face without candy eyeballs!
STORE BOUGHT RICE KRISPIE TREATS – This is if you don’t want to make homemade rice krispie treats. Making homemade doesn’t take very long but sometimes every single minute counts.
